Journey to Peru with Richard Grossman
June 18 to July 3, 2010

The dates for this year's Journey are June 18 to July 3. This is an amazing opportunity for anyone who wishes to experience and explore both deep shamanic healing and the incredible beauty of the Andean mountains and the Amazonian rain forest. This years Journey will be limited to 16 people and while there is still space, it is filling up quickly.

For the first 8 days, we'll be in the area of the beautiful Andean city of Carhuaz, home of Tito la Rosa. Tito is a world class curandero de sonidos - a healer of sound and music. He will guide us on a Journey of Healing ceremonies and deep learning. And that is far from all. After the week in the mountains with don Tito, we will travel to the Upper Amazon to spend a week in the jungle with shaman, curandero, and astounding musician Herbert Quinteros.

There is only one small airplane that flies into and out of the Carhuaz area each day. I will need to make reservations for this with the airline very soon, so your rapid response is necessary.

The cost for this life-changing experience is only $2650 USD. This includes everything other than airfare, voluntary gratuities, and souvenirs. Airfare, depending on airline, time of purchase (sooner the better) and itinerary will cost roughly $1000 USD from the U.S.

Please visit www.heartfeather.com for your application and/or further information. Your place will be held upon receipt and acceptance of a completed application and a of deposit of 1000 USD which is necessary for down payments on lodging and air reservations.

Expedition to Lake Baikal, Siberia
Lake Baikal is known as the "Pearl of Siberia". It is the deepest, and among the clearest of all lakes in the world. It is also the world's largest freshwater lake. It has an average depth of 744.4 m (2,442 ft) and contains roughly 20 percent of the world's surface fresh water. At more than 25 million years old, Baikal is also the world's oldest lake. Lake Baikal was formed as an ancient rift valley - a deep crack in the Earth's cortex. Its shape is a long crescent, the shape of the Moon during its first quarter.

Altogether these are signs of extremely powerful, pure, liquid-crystal energy force. The depth of Lake Baikal is still growing. so more and more Virgin Life-Force of Gaia springs from the sacred depths of Mother Earth. Because of this life-force, Baikal supports more than 1,700 species of plants and animals, two-thirds of which can be found nowhere else in the world. It has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is also home to Buryat tribes with their ancient knowledge of Bo (Lamaism).

Baikal is a lake of pure wild nature and indescribable beauty. During our expedition you will cross Baikal from South to North, enjoying the unforgettable magical landscapes of its islands, shores and beaches. Moving from one climatic zone to another, you will walk through the high Alpine meadows of the Sayan-Baikal Mountains and the Taiga forest. You will cross crystal clear springs and rivers, home to the uniquely transparent golomyanka fish which can be found nowhere else, and smell the fragrance of tender Siberian flowers. During the tour you will be able to bathe in natural hot springs - fountains of raw life force.
